How EXOMIND works
Magnetic pulses. No medication.
EXOMIND is BTL's TMS platform. It uses a focused magnetic field to stimulate the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, a region that is often underactive in depression. Think of it as a workout for the neural pathways that help regulate mood and attention.

TMS has been studied for decades. EXOMIND is FDA-cleared to treat symptoms of depression, offering a drug-free option when medication has not been enough, or when you want a non-medication path.

A conventional TMS course often means 30 to 40 visits of 40 to 60 minutes. EXOMIND sessions run under 30 minutes, and many patients complete a core course in as few as six treatments.

- Do I need to RSVP?
- Please do. Use the form on this page so we can plan for the representative and snacks. Walk-ins are still welcome between 4 and 7pm.
- Can I add this to my calendar?

- Is the open house free?
- Yes. Demos, conversation with the EXOMIND representative, and snacks are complimentary. Treatment itself is a separate clinical decision after the event.
- What is EXOMIND?
- EXOMIND is a BTL device that delivers ExoTMS, a comfortable form of transcranial magnetic stimulation. It is FDA-cleared for the treatment of depression and is designed around shorter, more tolerable sessions than older TMS systems.
- Does it hurt?
- Most people find it comfortable. You typically feel a tapping sensation on the scalp. There is no incision, no anesthesia, and no downtime.
- Will my insurance cover treatment?
- Coverage for TMS varies by plan and diagnosis. Many insurers cover TMS for depression when clinical criteria are met. We can help you check eligibility after the open house. Do not assume coverage from this event page.
- Who should not try TMS?
- TMS is not right for everyone. Metal implants near the head, a history of seizures, and certain other conditions can be contraindications. A clinician reviews your history before any treatment.
